Who we are
A Christ-Centered
Community for
Worship & Growth
Community Church is an independent, Christ-centered
congregation dedicated to worship, spiritual growth, and
serving our neighbors. We believe in creating a space where
people can authentically encounter God, deepen their faith,
and build meaningful relationships.
About Us
Our Mission
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God. We believe that there is one God, existent in Three manifestations (forms); as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead; that he ascended into Heaven.
We believed in the Blessed Hope and victory in every area of our life.
We believe that the only means of being cleaned from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in being baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ through the Word of God.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe in the speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a victorious life.
We believe in the Holy Eucharist which is the bread and wine in remembrance of the Lord’s broken body and the shedding of His blood
Our History
Apostle G.A. Bryant is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his early schooling in the Atlanta Public School System. Afterward he attended DeKalb Community College, Beulah Bible College, and Atlanta Metropolitan College. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Christ Is The Answer Seminary.
Most of all the adult life of Apostle Bryant has been in full time ministry. He received salvation under the late Rev A. A. Allen. Shortly after, he attended the Jones Avenue COGIC under the pasturage of the late Bishop George W. Briley (COGIC). Later, he attended and grew to be a spiritual giant under Bishop J. P. Cole and the late Bishop C. E. Poole (Apostolic) and the late Bishop Clarence Robinson and Mother Alma Robinson. Apostle Bryant was tutored, mentored, trained, and developed by these great pioneers of the Christian faith.
He worked in many facets of ministry: Vacation Bible School Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Praise and Worship Leader, Musician and Evangelist. In 1976, by the permission of Bishop J. P. Cole, he was sent out to northwest Atlanta to do a work for the Lord and began with prayer and Bible teaching at 1401 Bankhead. He served tirelessly for many years sat Bethlehem Healing Temple under the auspices and tutelage of Bishop J.P. Cole. He truly honors and appreciates the foundation on which he was groomed. In 1983, he met and submitted to the covering of the late Johnny Washington of Jamaica, New York. There he remained until his untimely death.
Apostle Bryant has a strong prophetic mantel over his life. In 1977, by prophetic utterance , the Lord renamed the ministry to The Fountain of Praise Deliverance Center. Apostle Bryant is the Founder of The Fountain of Praise Ministry and The More Than Conquerors Fellowship International, Inc where he provides prophetic directions and Apostolic insight for Kingdom leaders. The Fountain of Praise is a place of Destiny and a House of Mercy. It is an Ephesians 3:20 Ministry. He is also the Founder and CEO if New Directions For Positive Change an outreach Ministry; The Mercy and Fresh Start Ministry.
Apostle Bryant is a Leaders Leader; a Teachers Teacher; a Pastor’s Pastor; and a Bishop’s Bishop. He has given birth to many sons and daughters throughout the length and breadth of this country. His endeavors are to spread the Words of Mercy and Grace globally to develop and empower men and women ti be reconciled back to God and to walk in the manifestation of hope, healing, and wholeness.
We invite you to come where Jesus Christ is transforming, impacting, developing and processing men and women lives from now until eternity…Come experience where “Mercy connects with Destiny”
.
You’re always welcome here.
